Porcelain Veneers

Porcelain Veneers are a fantastic way to repair or enhance the appearance of front teeth. They can be used to whiten teeth, close spaces and create a great smile. Using veneers, we can even perform virtually "instant orthodontics" to straighten crooked teeth and give you the bright smile you always wanted.

  • Reduce or Eliminate Spaces Between the Teeth (Diastemas)
  • Repair Broken or Chipped Teeth
  • Whiten Dark, Yellow, Permanently-Stained or Discolored Teeth
  • Correct Misshapen or Crooked Teeth

Lumineers

Lumineers are porcelain veneers that can permanently whiten and perfectly align your smile. They are made of very strong porcelain that is contact lens thin! Lumineers can often be placed without any grinding or shaving of tooth structure and in most cases without any numbing. Lumineers can transform your teeth and give you a naturally beautiful smile. They can even be placed over old crowns and bridgework to make them beautiful again. Lumineers are a beautiful cosmetic solution for stained, chipped, discolored or misaligned teeth.

Bridges

These restorations, generally made of porcelain or porcelain and gold, are used to replace missing teeth. Bridges are supported by the teeth neighboring the missing tooth and are permanently cemented.

Dental Implants

Dental implants are changing the way people live! They are designed to provide a foundation for replacement teeth which look, feel, and function like natural teeth. A person who has lost teeth regains the ability to eat virtually anything and smiles with confidence knowing that the teeth are strong.  Dental implants prevent the look of premature aging by preserving the jaw bone.

What are Dental Implants?
The implants themselves are artificial roots, made of titanium, which are surgically inserted into the jawbone where teeth are missing.  After the new root is left undisturbed for a period of time, the dentist attaches a strong porcelain crown which looks and functions just like a natural tooth.

Root Canal Therapy

Root canal therapy becomes necessary when there is very deep decay, a tooth fractures or a tooth becomes infected. Using many of the latest techniques, root canal therapy is a highly successful treatment that saves the tooth and eliminates pain.

TMJ Disorder

TMJ (temporomandibular joint) disorders are a family of problems related to your complex jaw joint. If you have had symptoms like pain or a "clicking" sound, you'll be glad to know that these problems are more easily diagnosed and treated than they were in the past. Since some types of TMJ problems can lead to more serious conditions, early detection and treatment are important.

No one treatment can resolve TMJ disorders completely and treatment takes time to be effective.

Sealants

Good oral hygiene – brushing and flossing daily – and a healthy diet are the best way to prevent plaque build-up in the mouth. But even the most thorough brushing does not always reach the deepest indentations in the back teeth (molars). Dental sealants fill in these depressions, preventing bacterial formation that causes tooth decay and other damage. In a procedure that takes only a few minutes per tooth, the tooth is cleaned, a solution is applied to roughen the surface texture, the plastic sealant is bonded to the tooth and a light is used on it to speed the hardening process. Sealants can be used to help both adults and children, and may be re-applied every few years.

Cosmetic Bonding

Cosmetic Dental Bonding (also known as composite or composite fillings) is the act of using a natural-colored light-sensitive composite resin filling to fill in cavities, gaps ( diastemas), cracks and general flaws .  Teeth can be reshaped, repaired (filled), straightened, made whiter, made brighter, made simply more attractive with a few thin coats of composite resin.  It is less invasive and less expensive than crowns or veneers and more attractive than typical amalgam (silver) fillings.  Unfortunately Cosmetic Dental Bonding doesn't last as long as Porcelain Veneers or Crowns and will need to be replaced within 10 years.  However, it is better for your teeth than amalgam fillings because the bonding material has properties similar to the natural tooth structure.

Soft Tissue Management (A Non-Surgical Approach To Gum Disease)

Periodontal disease is a serious infection of the gums and bone that support the teeth.  It affects 75% of the population.  When periodontal disease is in its early stages, it can be treated.  Soft tissue management (STM) is the treatment program that we personalize depending upon your level of disease. It consists of thoroughly scaling and root planing the teeth surfaces below the gum line and in between the teeth.  Then, an anti microbial medicine is sprayed below the gums to flush out the bacteria.  Finally, antibiotics may be placed into certain areas to treat the infection.

Oral hygiene instructions are a very important part of your treatment program.  In addition to proper brushing and flossing tips, patients receive a Rotadent professional power brush to help remove bacteria from all the teeth surfaces.  After your STM is completed, the frequency of your dental hygiene visits may be increased from two times per year to three to four times per year to help you maintain a healthier oral environment.
